"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

I am clinging to this verse today. I am going through some things right now that I can't control and uncertainty is reigning. So, I will cling to this verse and my precious Savior and will trust in Him to take care of all of it.

Starting over

2011 has been amazing so far. I have been so amazed by the things God has revealed to me about myself and truths about my life that I had never seen before. I'm changing the things He's shown me that I don't like and at the same time am starting a journey to be healthier. I've lost 12.4 lbs so far this year. It's been easier than ever before and  all these changes at once seems to be exciting rather than overwhelming. 
 This is a new blog and I'm really not sure what it will be. It may just be a place to jot down thoughts or it may evolve into something else. It will be fun to see where it goes though.
